Not sure if you’ve seen this but I saw it on Instagram back in December, while living it up in Naija! Since then I’ve been telling my friends about it so I thought I’ll share it with you too!
So how does it work?
For each week of the year you simply deposit the numerical equivalent in currency. So for week 1 you deposit £1.00, week 2 you deposit £2.00 leaving you with a total of £3.00, week 3 you should have £6.00 saved and you continue the process for 52 weeks. Check out YouTuber xGOLDn – Ambrosia Malbrough’s video about the challenge.
I’ve adapted the original chart to pounds, why not print it off* and start today. If you want you can catch up by adding the total for this week or start with £1.00 today. (Click here for the dollar version, both versions amount to the same numerical figure).
You may want to save the money in box, piggy bank or savings account, it’s up to you, but be disciplined about it.
Feel like really challenging yourself? Why not double your amount or add extra to your collection just because you can!
