Story: Centre Stage – SIDE B

by OlayideM.

Thank you to Christabel (@BreakingMadTeam & @Bye_Wig), Ayobola Deborah (@ayoboladeborah) & Aunty Yemi! This story is a work of fiction. The names, characters, places, incidents and dialogues are a figment of my imagination – most definitely inspired by God, and are not to be construed as real. Any resemblance to actual events, locales, organisations, persons living or dead, is entirely coincidental.  About Centre Stage: Sharon Starr, Nigeria’s biggest AfroPop sensation has gone missing just before the start of her international tour. A few days have quickly turned to months and nobody knows where she is, including her husband-manager, NJ The Producer. We find out more about the couple and their journey through the eyes and ears of Doctor Wole, their therapist. It’s an emotional journey that explores the impact of upbringing, perceptions, and beliefs and very importantly, if reconciliation can exist when trauma has been experienced. Read Side A HERE Track 6: Make The News II – Skit feat. VJ Lara “It’s your favourite girl, VJ Lara and boy has it been an eventful day in the...

Starting the #WealthSeries has actually been so good for me not because of the feedback, but because I’ve realised how far God has brought me and I’ve come to realise that I actually love writing. Side note: Knowing what you love is life changing. Testimony 🙌🏾: Learning about #PersonalFinance was a #PrayerPoint almost three years ago and now it’s all coming together. This moment reminds me of something my dad once told me: God doesn’t live in time and therefore He has already answered our prayers, however because we live in time it seem like it takes a while for them to be answered. I know I haven’t posted the remaining parts of this series, but they are coming. We’ll be back to regular programming on Monday 28 October. In the meantime catch up on the series because the next part is LOADED with resources! #LivingAndLoving #TheWordOfMouthCo. ❤️

Your words can change the course of someone’s life so be mindful of how you use them. Let your words bring #Peace, #Encouragement, #Resolution & #Hope to those who hear you speak. #TheWordOfMouthCo. ❤️
#TheresRiceAtHome #WealthSeries It took a lot of #Reflection and #Honesty to confront my #Toxic #Relationship with #PersonalFinance. Things changed when I involved #God in all my business (including my money). I even wrote #TheFinancialPlanPrayer and by God’s grace I’m getting there. #FinancesLikePartyJollof 😋 What’s your relationship with money? Read all about mine - #LinkInBio. #TheWordOfMouthCo. ❤️
#Reflection It’s so important to take inventory of your day. I left work feeling like my day had been wasted, then God reminded me of how favour-filled my day has actually been. 1. I woke up “early”(this is a testimony lol) 2. I wished I could take an Uber to work in this heat; a neighbour saw me and offered to drop me at work. 3. I planned to make #JollofRice tonight, for lunch tomorrow; a 4-hour meeting team meeting surprisingly included free lunch, which means I don’t have to cook tonight (double favour). #CountYourBlessings. #TheWordOfMouthCo. ❤️
